At Downtown Yoga Greenville, our desire is to help individuals find a version of themselves that they might not know exists. We offer a comfortable atmosphere that is free from judgment and competition. Our instructors will guide you through the process of finding the roots of your yoga practice. It is from this strong foundation that you will find growth. Our commitment is to meet you where you currently are physically—and emotionally—in life.

Class Descriptions

Athletic to Restorative Flow   all levels welcome / modification offered (basic yoga knowledge helpful)  
An energetic flow practice that has the same attention paid to breath, alignment and mindfulness but also incorporates an athletic feel. This class is a great reminder that you can cross train and increase strength for your sport while appreciating the importance of flexibility and restorative positions.

Form and Foundation Flow   all levels
We focus on the foundations of the practice in this class. Breathwork, alignment and mindfulness. A slower pace allows you the time to find your comfort level in the holding of a pose (Asana) as well as transitioning (Vinyasa or flow) with gentle movement.

Friday FUNdamentals all level

Gentle Flow and Restore  all levels
End your weekend and welcome your week with this soothing flow. This class will move slowly through poses using the breath as a guide. It will introduce you to the therapeutic benefits of yoga. Using various props and remaining in poses for a longer period of time, this class will leave you feeling relaxed. A restorative practice is a great place for beginners as well as anyone who recognizes the desire to slow down.

Morning Flow   all levels
Wake up with this energizing flow! This class will get your weekend started right by awakening your muscles with a morning flow. We will focus on the combination of breath with movement as we move through this hatha practice.You will gain strength, balance, flexibility, and you will leave feeling refreshed. This class is excellent for beginner and intermediate students.

Lisa teaches restorative/back care to athletic power flow. She brings the practice to you so you can take away from it what you need in that moment. She encourages breath-work, mindfulness and listening from within while you are on your mat. “It’s in this quiet and safe place we can learn about ourselves and how we react with others.”
